So I'm guessing using a pre-boot flash of the card would be out of the question?
I had a question for you guys, I have searched around the forum and I already used a guide to unlock the shaders/OC ability for my card. I own an MSI Twin Frozr III R6950 PC/OE, The problem I ran into is when I try to OC it to around 925 core and 1400 memory clock I either freeze and have to reboot or my card resets and my monitor goes into no imput mode. I have to restart either way, it's annoying and I'm pretty much new to this. As you may have guessed I only use fans to cool the system, I have a large desk fan blowing into the case with the cover off at all times because my last card was an EVGA GTX 260 and it ran incredibly hot for some reason. My GPU-Z stats are as follows, bios version 013.011.000.007.000000 Shaders - 1536 (1400ish before unlock) Driver version ati2mtag 8.790.6.0 (Catalyst 10.11) / XP64. GPU Clock 850 Mhz, Memory 1300 Mhz. My CPU is an intel Core 2 duo 2.66 E6750. I also have 4 gigs of ram on my Asus P5K premium black pearl edition. If any of that helps you figure out the issue great. I will post whatever else you need to know, just let me know what is wrong and what I can do.

I also made sure the bios switch was in the 1 position, to the right away from the SLI bridge plugs which the guide I used said to do. If I turn off and switch it back to the left it boots as stock. To make this short, my main issue is everything is unlocking fine but when I Try to tinker with the afterburner program and set it to 927 core clock and 1400 mem clock it shuts off or freezes. Is this damaging something and or should I even OC with just fan cooling? If there's something wrong with the card I don't want it and need to RMA it soon. I just bought it on the 7th of Jan. 2012.

Hey so I was trying to do this but I keep getting an error when I try to run Winflash that says error reading rom and just has a button you can click that says ok and then does nothing. I have a Diamond reference 6950.
