Thermaltake 230mm Blue LED Fan

Thread Starter
So I'm new here, I LOVE YOU ALL! I've been meaning to find a forum home...just havent had the gusto to get it done. Thanks for having me!

On to my question...I have a Thermaltake case and the 230mm blue LED side fan started knocking yesterday. i took it off, whiped it down and put it back...didnt knock anymore. then i shut the computer down and when i started it up later that night it was f'ing HORRENDOUS. Scared my 1yr old bad dudes...lulz...anyhow, so now its off and I dont really want to be running the computer a ton just because I dont want to jinx anything. Florida weather is so nasty even now. hot hot hot.

I've tried looking around and i got PUMPED when i saw the cooler master 200mm mega fans but...alas'...too small. do i have any other options here or am i only left with getting another one like i had?

Rexus makes a 250mm. It might be a bot too big, but it'll still prolly work.
Dunno about the mounting procedures, depends on the case I guess.
I replaced a stock 250mm on my Xclio case with the blue Rexus, and I can say for sure that it's got more airflow. I'm not sure how it would compare with the Thermaltake.
Edit; Yeah, looking at that grill all it would take is a couple minutes with a drill and you'd be fine mounting a 250mm on that case.

If you're in need of a 230mm fan, the best you're going to do is buying a Cooler Master 200x230x30mm fan. Comes with mounting holes for 200mm and 230mm.

Can buy one here (the blue LED at least): http://cmstore.coolermaster-usa.com/...roducts_id=178

I see people selling black ones here on overclock.net fairly frequently for less.
