case gods, guide my hand

alrighty, ive sold one of my folding computers to one of my teachers for 150 bucks, and now i need to make the most of it. Ive been needing a non-sucky case for quite some time now, one with good ventilation, and yet is reasonable for the price.

I have 2 upgrades which are MANDATORY, and they are

4GB 2x2 DDR2-800 by Adata
An Enzotech copper chipset heatsink (my chipset heatsink has a 40mm fan on it and it still gets almost too hot to touch)

combined, including shipping, both of these cost $75, which leaves the other 75 for a case, fans, and a fan controller (my mobo has only 2 fan headers, one being the CPU fan header and the other a fixed voltage 3pin).

I have 2 available 120mm fans, the one serving as the PSU exhaust in my main rig (IPC queen 120mm fan, was the cheapest one at the time) and a 120mm red LED Apevia fan still in my inactive folding rig. The IPC fan is running at full speed and is noticeable, although the PSU is getting replaced anyways, so it doesnt matter.

tldr need a decent case and fans for it, and must be as quiet as possible.

690 II or HAF series. Also a HOT heatsink is a GOOD heatsink. If it was cold, it wouldn't be effectively removing heat would it?

im not spending 100+ on a case, especially when i have more important upgrades to do first. If i had about $900 to spend, sure. But when ive only got 75? try again please.

Antec 300 perhaps? I have that case and it's basically no-frills and gives you basic features and of solid enough construction to stop some noise.

I got the illusion variant on discount which came with 2 additional front case fans for a total of 4. The nice thing about Antec cases is that their OEM fans all comes with a 3 speed switch, which allows you to run them at 1200, 1600, or 2000 rpm. I know its not as fancy as a real fan controller but can you get at that budget?

Can the LEDs on the fans be disabled (as in, is there a fairly easy to cut line to them?)? blue LEDs are not my thing. Red, definitely. Blue? nope.

Yah, you can cut them. They are exposed and run down the backside of the fan struts. The front fans have 3 leds around a black fan, the top fan has 4 leds around a clear 140mm fan, and the back fan does not have leds. I find it pretty cool to be able to see the insides of the computer at night from the other fan holes, each person has his own likes. The side intake does not have any fan or filter installed. You might need to get a filter/fan or block it off.

If you intend to replace the fans, you can get the regular 300 which only comes with the rear and top fans without any leds.

Sweet. +rep
And i know the 300 has terrible cable management, but i got a dremel, so that is quickly remedied.

Alright, i did a little hunting of my own and discovered this case

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811103040
XCLIO Nighthawk

I looked at it, and it comes with 5 fans, 2 of which are LED, can be set to 256 different colors (or turned off entirely), has cable management, bottom mounted PSU, integrated fan controller, and is painted a delicious all black color. Thoughts? opinions? Shipping for its gonna hurt, but im pretty sure i can convince my stepdad to cover the extra $10. Hes done it in the past.
