Need Help

Thread Starter
So I bought the Xsi like a month ago. Finally had the chance to take it out side and snap a few pics and enjoy the weekend with GF. I was able to take some pics that I liked others the object were to far to really apreciate them.

I have the kit lens and might consider getting something with a bit more reach. Don't know if to go with something like the 55-250 or something different. I am still learning and will need to learn more on composition, light, ect.

I will upload a few of the pics, please feel free to provide some constructive criticism.

55-250mm will be your best bang/buck lens. At that same price point is also the 75-300mm, but optical quality is poor on that lens.

Beyond the 55-250mm, there's also the 70-300mm but that starts to get a bit pricey.

Grab the 55-250. It has received lot of positive reviews. Price is great too!

if canon had a lens like the nikon 18-105, id suggest taht for a decent priced single walk around lens. pretty good for what its worth.

55-200 by nikon or the 55-250 by canon is pretty good for how much it costs and the focal length it covers. good start

Budget? I agree that the 55-250 is a great lens for the price.

Canon does have such a lens, the 18-135. A little longer, but equivalent nonetheless.
