why do my water cooling temp suck so bad

for my 2600k and asus p67 deluxe
my frist run at 5ghz 1.44v after 7 hours prime 95 75c load
so last night night i switched my rad around i put my big rad on the cpu loop
hoping it would drop my temps but it did not do any thing.
is there any think i have to do in the bios i should disable be for i overclock i remember on my 920 speedstepping was a must to disable.
