What i did is i uninstalled ALL DRIVERS including the ones from AMD / ATI.
I shut down my computer right after.
Plugged BOTH graphic cards with the pci bridge.
went to the ATI website and downloaded and installed the drivers again
now 2 is better than 1 wink.gif
the main problem is that when i put the second card after i bought it, only windows 7 installed the crap for me. I needed to install the ATI drivers/utilities thing WTIH BOTH CARDS IN THE COMPUTER. BECAUSE, THE ATI INSTALLATION CRAP DETECTS WHAT HARDWARE YOU HAVE BEFORE IT INSTALLS, SO BASICALLY IT SAW I HAD 2 CARDS IN MY COMPUTER AND INSTALLED THE RIGHT DRIVERS AND FROM THEN ON IT WORKED.

hopefully this works for you smile.gif

This might be the solution that I'm looking for.

You see, I have a problem where I want to crossfireX two hd5870 but when I hit configure my pc BSODs. My mobo is an X58 chipset, both bridges installed, and I have an Antec 1200 powercache.

I may have to redo the drivers so it's also on the second card.

They say if your only running 2 way crossfire to use one crossfire bridge for better preformance and you should only use 2 if u have say 3 cards to crossfire

I ran GPUz and when selecting the main card it said crossfire was enabled but when the second card was selected it said it wasn't.
Same thing happens to me gessing its normal?

Another problem was in BFBC2 I get huge graphics glitches where half or 70% of the screen flickers black rapidly for a few seconds and then returns to normal. It doesn't happen too often, but I know it SHOULDN'T because it never did on 1 card.
I have this problem also it must be a driver problem i wonder if it just effects 5xxx series cards or 6xxx as well either way amd should be told about this
