460 vs 6850 or other sub $200 card - Page 3

You should not really go for a sub $200 Radeon 6xxx series card because the only sub $200 graphics card there is in that series is the HD6850 so o for the Radeon HD5850. It's about $200 and will out perform a GTX460 any day.

I had one.

To the op, you can buy 2 460s for the price of a 570 and they beat the 580

A few fps in it? Toss in AMD's new driver which gained me 10fps in Heaven..

Whats your GAMES score.... Read reviews 5850 cf >> GTX 460 SLI

Unfortunately I've found out that my board doesn't support SLI when I thought it had (good thing I checked) which pretty much rules out Nvidia and the 460 if I want somewhat of an upgrade path.

I think I'll go with the 5850 over the 6850.
You can actually enable SLi on almost all motherboards. Just go here.

The 5850 is still faster then a GTX 460 so going SLI with them is silly.
I didn't say one was faster than the other. Just informing him that you can enable SLi on most motherboards. You silly goose.
