Is it worth it?

Hi i live in Finland and we're(me and my parents ) thinking of buying a new computer.

so the computer we might buy is on sale( or w/e the word for it is), and it cost's 700( normal 900) euros. Acer Aspire M3400

specs are:

AMD Athlon II X4 635(2.90 GHz)
6 Gt Ram
1,5 TB Hard drive
Nvidia Geforce GT420(2GB memory, DDR3)

Would it run CS:S all at medium-high?
,would it run MW2 all medium?
would it be worth it ??

OR should i wait for my dads friends friend(repairs computers and stuff) to look for computers in Estonia(will probably cost less)

sry if my english isn't perfect ...

Yeah it should run all those games at at least medium..

I assume you have never built a computer before?

No such a VERY big difference, but you will see a small performance increase with DDR5. The Higher the DDR The faster the memory should be, But it is not worth the money to upgrade to the same card just in DDR5

okay, ty. But would this computer run CS:S(i will probably play mainly this and cs 1.6 ) all high?
Oh yeah, cs:s is pretty lax on system requirements compared to most games these days. Should run it just fine, even at highest settings.

okay, ty. what about MW2?

It has a gt420 ...

People use the gt430 to watch blue ray movies on their htpc. I wouldn't expect that card to do anything extraordinary.
