It's a 6ft cable, a wire hanger will do the job.

What we've been talking about up to this point is distance, once a cable pass the distance of 30m you'll start to see problems.

30m? That's 100 ft and you'll run into problems way before then trying to pass lossless multichannel tracks and 1080p down a crappy cable. I couldn't lock on with a crappy cable on a 25 ft run.

WRONG! That kind of statement completely undermines what HDMI is and how complex it actually is. HDMI has to carry a lot of bandwidth.

More complex than hanger wire:

I suggest you read the first page of this article to see how HDMI actually works:

http://www.audioholics.com/education/cables/long-hdmi-cable-bench-tests

HDMI cables run into problems around the 10m (33ft) mark.

honestly, just read this article:

It's all you need to know about HDMI cables. Everything.

/thread and dumb ill-informed arguments

This, but x1000. I just ordered a 22AWG 50' HDMI and a couple of ferrite cores for a customer yesterday. Even with 2-day guaranteed shipping it was only like $60 and change.

Another tip: their Monoprice branded monitor mounts are about 1/4 the price of anybody else and are insanely strong. I have bought several and have never been let down. I have one in my shop that I paid only $16 for and I can practically hang from the thing. I swing it in and out of my way all day long and I have still never needed to adjust it. Cat5 patch cables are probably the cheapest you can get online as well. I'm just not too crazy over their booted connectors. They are a little tough to unplugged sometimes because the release tab is so short. It has already forced me to cut the rubber boots off in a few occasions.

I'm either using the cable that came with my Xbox elite or two hdmi cables I got from Harbor Freight. Yup, Harbor Freight and they work.

Cheap cables are fine, I cant understand how some places factor a 10x markup of price. Oh wait... how else can you turn $10 into $100.. thats how, x10 and sell.
