Pretty much... Though I do find it funny that everyone always seems to feel that somehow good watercooling cases don't need to have good airflow. In my mind the biggest strike against the 800D as a watercooling case is that it needs some modding for optimal performance. If only the CaseLabs stuff had been available a year ago...

But yes, water all around would be might awesome.
I will water cool them soon

I plan on a 5.0Ghz on my cpu

and GPU to between 900\\1000\\1800 to 950\\1100\\1900 something extreme xD
but no more then that...

I want to get a EK GPU only block do you think the stock cooler will be enough to cool the VRM on those frequencies ?
those frequencies will probably need a 1.1-1.12 volts to the card...

I'm excited and sad at the same time, I'm in a transition to pretty much equal build, I'll be going ASUS mob though, and some GSkill RAM (2133) but other than that pretty much the same, CPU-GPU's-Case-and WC on the CPU only. Yes CPU only, I simply can't front the extra cash to WC the GPU's so they will be on air. This also bring me to my next point, IMHO 800d wins for a full WC build, I choose the HAF X for my build because of the airflow specificly to the GPU's. I'm currently in limbo atm running a lower end H67 board (long story) while waiting on the re-release of the mobo's and holding out on buying the GPU's till then as well because the 595 might be out by then.

But very nice build and I'm jealous you get to start where I am aiming to be, I'm very interested in the benching numbers when you get this finished-sub'ed

^ good luck with that build

the GTX595 wont be as strong as a GTX580SLI you can count on that they will massively decrease its clocks it will be a little less powerful then GTX570 SLI... (just with tons of memory)...

the ram is a bit to much it wont help your overclock more but its a good ram,I thought of baying a 2X4GB kit of it instead of the mushkins but the mushkins were just too good looking ...

I'd spring for the EK full-cover block. Given the rash of VRM issues that happened with the 570 (I know with the 2 extra phases the 580 has been deemed immune) the cooler VRM temps afforded by the full block can't hurt.

^ ya but it cost more and dont cool the core as good as a gpu only block

and that thing that really make me want the gpu only block is that I can use it for my next card and I dont have to buy a new block if I want new cards...
the few less temp on the core and and the bit less money it cost is less significant compare to its will only work for my 580's and never for anther card...

That isn't a good enough reason, because the difference is only a few degrees @ best.
If you want it because you will be able to put it on different cards then ok, but saying you want it for lower temps is just a joke and I laugh at you for it not with you because of it.

No, he's saying he doesn't care about slightly lower temps, and in turn, prefers future compatibility.

Unfortunately, there is no such thing.
You will have to buy a new block for every graphics card you buy.

You can, and should, however, sell your existing blocks, preferably still attached to your card.

WHAT WHY??????????

The swiftech GPU only blocks can go on any card across the board, show me otherwise.

Why does it need to be still attached to the card?

I will sell you my 5850s with blocks still attached,
