Why does it need to be still attached to the card?

I will sell you my 5850s with blocks still attached,
GTX 580 blocks can fit HD 6970? Then why do they sell both?

you don't know how to read do you?(or you just read what you want) I said GPU block only.... I didn't say FULL card blocks

This is the block I am referring too
http://www.swiftnets.com/products/mcw60-r.asp

if you click on the link and read the whole page and look at the nice little pictures you will see that it fits close to every card on the market if not every card on the market

Amazing how reading can get you through life

WHY DO YOU KEEP PICKING ON MY POSTS? 2 or 3 threads this morning... its ok though I have reported all of them

That's discontinued and has poor performance compared to the dedicated blocks.

But I'm sorry if you think I'm picking on you.

You have good taste in hardware.
you're going to love that setup.

Nice build. I've had zero problems with my HAF X though. No standoffs broke, no problem getting them in and nothing else went wrong lol. You just got unlucky.

You really have a hard time reading don't you.

Discontinued???????? (ya maybe the one in that link, because I put 60 not 80)

But swiftech still makes "that" block (more or less)

I can buy one from P-PC
Need a link?

That is what he was referring to, I don't understand why you are fighting me on this. Common sense stuff here.

Don't feed the troll nick, he just wandered over from the PSU section is all. @OP, the EK GPU only block may cool better, but it's on the order of single degrees, and the added cooling to memory and VRM afforded by the full cover block will help the card last much longer for you. I appreciate the concerns about full-cover blocks not being future compatible, but I'd suggest simply selling them with the cards. The blocks won't 'go bad' on you, so you can always recoup some of the money.

Sorry SaltwaterCooled, I just wanted to make my point to the OP, not my fault that Track has to get in the way, hoping the OP will read around all the trolling.

So again that Swiftech block is an amazing block, but I just don't like that it doesn't cool the whole board, if you don't care about that, then it is the perfect block for you and future ready for future cards to come.

You are doing a great job at it today.

I see they closed the other thread you were heavily active in. Going for number 2?
