I'd direct you here for my basis of opinion. Also, don't waste my time with useless PMs, thanks. Not trying to be a jerk, you just need to work on making sure your posts are helpful/informative/on topic

I agree, and the EK is an excellent performer too, I personally just don't like the lack of cooling on the other parts of the board. Completely up to personal opinion here. I tend to keep the cards for several years (3-5) so adding the full block doesn't make too much difference to me.

ammm as I sad the reason that I want a gpu only block is for future proof even tough I am not sure on it yet... might just get a full cover in the end...
Sorry for the spam earlier

I'd vote full-cover both for looks, tube-routing and overall cooling performance of the entire card. But your vote counts for alot more than mine

Well I am sure you know me and know that I prefer full blocks, (I run full blocks myself and always have on all my cards)

But I was just giving him facts and the fact is the Swiftech block is a great block for the GPU, only,(I always like to say what is the point of cooling the GPU if you cant/aren't cooling the rest, OC will not be as high if you plan to OC or it can be but will be harder on the rest of the card) and will be able to transfer to newer cards (fact not opinion). again not saying this is what I would do or would talk anyone into doing, I just tell it how it is. also I don't believe in talking people out of it, I tell them how it is and I believe they will pick what fits their needs best.

And I'd direct you to the PM, so we can discuss your opinion of me like adults.

But alas, you're too much of an elitist pompous weenie to have a conversation with me.

How's that for making just absolutely sure my posts are helpful, informative and insightful
