If they are mag lights I suggest a simple mod kit that ads a button to the back. Solves the discharge issue.

STAY INSIDE THE 20's.

Charge to 80% or so, unplug it and use it to 20% or so, repeat. Charging to full is fine if you're not using it.

Me and my sister have had identical MacBooks purchased around the same time, I follow the rule, she doesn't pay attention, she's had to replace her battery while mine is as good as the day I got it.

Follow that simple rule as much as you can and you should get as much use from your Li-Ion as possible.
This is completely horrible advice since it introduces unnecessary charge cycles. Li-Ion battery life is based primarily upon charge ccles.

See that seems really stupid for some reason. If charging to 100% is bad and letting it fall to far down is also bad why didn't they just simply it? Make it so when the battery is at 40% show 5% and at 80% be "fully charged"

I usually charge my Fuze up after it hits 40-50% but always to 100% charge. Sadly I can't sit there and "stare" at my charger for 40 minutes waiting.

It's not horrible advice. If I use my battery for an hour discharging it by 20% then charging it up to full again that does not count as a cycle. If you read up on hybrid/electric car battery packs most of them don't discharge past a 20-30% and don't charge past 80%, when the battery pack costs more then the car that matters a lot. Some of the car manufactures states that it allows the battery's to last twice as long.
