My Ghetto HTPC - Page 4

I have a ghettoish HTPC, see Crushcrushcrush in my sig.

I've only spent about £25 on it. £5 for 512MB of extra RAM (not here yet), £9 for the Akasa Zen case, £12 for the 160GB data drive. The rest were all free off Freecycle, and were ready to run straight away. All I had to do was change the CMOS battery, swap the DVD-RW drive for a black one, install 7, and I was ready to go.

I do like your setup, similar to my old Tiny that I have, P4 3GHz w/ HT, crappy board, but that has PCI-E. Using that as a workstation down in my workshop (when it's done)

Thank mate

Glad someone can take some light into my setup :'D

I wish this motherboard had a PCI-E slot, then I would stick a 8600GT in here.

The one advantage I'm seeing here is that if you fired this rig out of a crossbow it might kill the Soviet Premiere.
