266 mhz even when 1333mhz capable

My motherboard is capable of 800,1033, and even 1333. But still CPUz shows my ram clocked at 266 mhz.

my mobo is - asus -p5klam-ps

and the ram is 800mhz,
can anyone plz suggest why is my ram underclocked.
Is my cpu limitting it as its an old p4,2.93ghz , prescott, 1mb l2 cache.

Increase your memory frequency in BIOS from 533 to 800.

By the way, you ARE running @ 533 at the moment. CPU-Z shows it as 266MHz but since it's a Double Data Rate memory its rated at an actual 533MHz (266x2)
