I can see this starting to happen in 6~ months

god so annoying, none of the symbols are lit up on the number keys, half the numbers barely light, argggggg

Wow is it possible this keyboard is messing with my mouse input, thing is randomly jumping, interesting coincidence.

Like I said, this thing has to go, as soon as I can order a replacement, Its getting returned, I really wanted to love it.

So.

Das Keyboard
99$ rosewill
Steelseries 6g/7g
Xarmor
Leupold
?

OR...and probably a bad idea, a Blackwidow?

I keep wanting to give Razer a chance but this is there.... 6 or 7 product I've had that is just unusable.

I think the only thing I like from Razer that I've ever owned is my eXactMat, altho i find it terrible in conjunction with the wrist rest.

Not sure if it's the drivers. I haven't installed any real drivers manually and have no software for the keyboard, but not sure if windows 7's automatic driver install stuff installed it.

It really shouldn't be, I've only ever had 1 keyboard before that faded, all the others withstood years and years of punishment without even the slightest fade.

probably drivers, Razer is always driver crazy

To bad I've always had nothing but issues with Razers Drivers.
like i said, i HAVE not installed razer's drivers. but if windows 7's automatic installation's bare driver install counts, then it may be the drivers' fault for ghost keys.

also, i can assure you, my wsd are starting to fade, the w and s more than the d.

nothing over the top though

Yes it will wear out and get sticky keys from time to time. I like my mechanical black window better than the lycos. Best deal i ever got.
I really love my Lycosa. After close to two years of use the only key that's rubbing off is my "D" key since I often hit it with my fingernail instead of my fingertips. Even then, I can clearly still see that it's the letter D. I haven't had any problems with the drivers or backlighting, though I do get the ghosting of the media touchpad time to time (mostly turning my backlights off). Aside from those few problems, I think it's been worth my $35 + $5 shipping, especially considering it's a refurb from Sellout.Woot.

If I had paid 40 instead of 80 I'd be satisfied.

Its a 60$ board at best imo.

should be price at arcosa's point.

anyway, I don't care to bash it out, I don't like it, others may.

I'm more wondering if I should really even consider the blackwidow anymore.
the black widow should be entirely different. iirc, they took people's opinions into consideration in creating the widow.

it would be unfair to compare this board to something new like the black widow and i would still give it a try.
