Would i be able to overclock on my mobo? It is rated for 95watt cpus...and if i shouldnt because there really isnt any head room could i still just up the ht and fsb without changing the volts? I just dont wanna fry my cpu lol

Definitely don't push it. Not only is it a 3+1, it's an MSI. Not only can you assume the quality is low, from the looks of it the quality definitely is low. You could add some mosfet heatsinks to make it safer (I mean, you're already pushing the limit here!) but I still don't recommend too much overclocking (i.e. don't push the volts up too much at all)

The risk here isn't your CPU by the way, it's the mobo.
Expect to be held back from overclocking with generic memory by the way (assuming your DDR2 is 667Mhz CL5)

Alright thanks and what do you mean by 3+1?

Technically yes, should you no, your board does not have heatsinks on the vrm's.

The VRMs, which regulate/supply/convert power to CPU and determine TDP support. MSIs are notorious for blowups, often despite mosfet heatsinks... and on VRMs even more quality bound than this one. So pushing more wattage I can't exactly call too safe on that board.

Its the number of phases the power gets regulated through to go to your cpu.

XD_1771 is all over this one

Yeah the problem with this board I think is it's not really designed at all for overclocking. It's kind of like a board you'd use in a prebuilt computer. How do you get the 34C value by the way?

one of those temps is the "CPU" (socket temperature), the other is NB chipset. Usually TMPIN2 is mosfets, but only on some motherboards like mine.
