Replacement for SLi GTX260.

Thread Starter
Hey guys, looking for some advice.

I'm looking to replace both my GTX260's Core with a single card. What single card would be on par or slighty better then SLI 260's without breaking the bank and wouldn't be bottle necked with my current set up?

I'm honestly getting sick of dealing with SLI(drivers, game support, temps, etc), rather just go a single card route.

Nvidia or ATI, doesn't matter. But if I had a choice, I'd want Nvidia(hence the reason this is in the Nvidia forum).

If I had a choice, it would be a GTX 560 Ti. For around 250 dollars, you get around the same performance of two GTX 260's. I don't know if there are actually direct comparisons, but the 560 might be slightly faster even.

560 is definitely your best bet. Very solid performance without breaking the bank.

You can get a TF2 model for $249.99.

Edit:

http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/318?vs=330

GPU Bench doesn't have a 260 sli config to test against, but looking at a single 260 vs a single 560 the 560 is only ~44% faster in Crysis @1200p. 48% faster in ME2. I don't know how well 260s scale in SLI but that might actually be a slight downgrade.
