Single loop. Please give me any suggestions/and or critiques.

Res -- > CPU -- > NB / SB -- > 120 rad --> GPU -- > GPU --> 240 Rad --> Res

Res:
Koolance RP-402X2 (serial, 1 loop)

Pump:
2x MCP350 (used in res)

Rad: GT or GTX? (Big price diff.)
Black ice 240 GT or GTX
Black ice 120, GT or GTX

Cpu block: Recommendations? 3 choices.
EK Supreme HF – Rev2
Koolance CPU-340
Danger Den MC-TDX

GPU blocks: Dual Radeon 6950 (Modular or whole block.)
I would rather go modular but didn’t see much info. I’d like to be able to upgrade and I feel that whole block would be a waste if I upgraded my cards. But posting block for now.
2x Swiftech Komodo Hd6900 full coverage. (139.99 each, ouch.)

NB/SB:
EK ASUS Crosshair 4 Formula - Nickel

Fans:
Scythe Gentle Typhoon 1850. Either 4 or 8. Push/pull or single push.

The EK Supreme HF is by far the best CPU block out of the ones you listed. For the radiator with those fans the GTX radiator will give significantly higher performance than the GT radiator. If cost is an issue I would check out the Swiftech MCR220 and MCR120 radiators.

For the GPU blocks I would go fullcover, however I would not get Swiftech blocks. I would get the EK 6970 Nickel-Acetal Waterblock. They are only $105 each.

You would save a LOT of money on the pump/reservoir unit by just getting a single MCP35X pump and the XSPC Dual Bay Reservoir for Laing DDC One reservoir. Just as powerful for a total cost of $150, vs the $250 for the dual MCP350 + Koolance bay reservoir. Unless you really need the redundancy it'd be a better option. Noise wise the MCP35X has PWM support so you can automatically control it based on CPU temperature.

Hi Charlie,

Great info. I will take your suggestions, sounds like I can take the difference in price and get the GTX for better performance.

I was going 2 pumps because I thought redudency was a good idea and wanted to make sure I have sufficient flow. Will a single MCP350 be sufficient? So what you are suggesting is to use the DDC One Res and place the pump elsewhere? Is there no other res/pump options that aren't as high a price point?

Interestingly enough I've been reviewing the sales section of the forums and there is pretty awesome reselling. I'm less worried about possibly upgrading and being stuck with full cover gpu blocks.

No the DDC Reservoir has space for a single pump mount. The pump you linked is much too weak for your loop.

I'm not sure what a Mosfet is. From what I understand the graphics memory + voltage needs to be cooled as well? I'm definitely edging towards this option as I could see myself upgrading to dual core GPUs later this year.

The mofset is the component on the card that converts the +12V to the +1.0V for the GPU core

Well your stock video card might be coming with heatsinks already. My GTX 460 for example came with coolers on Mosfet. The case air ventilation will be enough for memory cooling (I don't use heatsink on memory modules). But if you want to feel safe you can get enzotech heatsinks. Again with this modular setup you can just reuse everything inluding heatsinks.
