[Newegg] Sapphire 5870 2GB EF6 $249 No Rebate - Page 2

The 5870 is 13% faster than the 6870, across the boards, on everything.

You'd be stupid to get a 6870 from a 5870 -- Especially when you already have 1 of the 5870's, and get another, now you're faster than the 5970 with more ram, t00

That's great dude, why bother posting if you don't care either way?

I wouldn't say it that strongly er or maybe I would. Paying 30-40 bucks for higher speed, 3 more outputs, more than 2x CFX, and oh... another friggin 1GB of vram...

Omg, what a rip off!

OMG! 13% faster! Good for benching and barely a difference in gaming. BTW...Nobody in this thread is debating to move from a 5870 to a 6870.

By a bit more, do you mean $100 more?

I think a better deal might be the 6950 for ~$40-50 more.
For single monitor setups you can easily grab a GTX 470 or a GTX 560 instead.

Thread Starter
Though I would still get a GTX560 over this card (if not 3 screens or more), or a 6950 2gb i think it is a good deal if you have one and want to CF. It is new, reference, 2gb, with warranty, for a good price.

The GTX570 is only a few $ more if it is an open box...
