I bought this, and its okay..it works better at idles. When gaming, my comp temps go up to 87..i was hoping for the cooler to shave off at LEAST 5*. But then again, my laptop is 17 inches and its meant for laptops 15 inches but can support 17s. Has two fans or so. Positioned them right at my vents on the bottom of my comp. Idle temps dropped by 10 degrees. Or maybe it's because of my computer? My laptop doesn't really touch the cooler platform. It has hindges that make a space even w/o a cooler. I think it's part of the design for air flow in my laptop.

So i'm looking for something better or cheaper.
I'm thinking about this

Another own a laptop like g71x and game with that cooler or u2? if so, how many less degrees and etc?

I'm also thinking about the three fan one..since my laptop is actually 17 inches,,,,

my bottom looks like this, except that box of squares is where those blue stuff are at. Fan is in the same spot.

I say the Thermaltake, only because I like the massive fan. Which should be quieter than 3, 120mm fans.

u can control fan speed in the 3 fans, hence the noise probably. My computer's back isn't TRULY flat that it touches tthe cooler..so its a hard..choice..
