Actually to be honest even my old 2001-era Celeron 1.1Ghz computer was cleaner when I gave it a good cleaning
The one computer I have seen about as dirty as that would be my friend's computer right before I helped him upgrade to an Antec BP 550+ and 5750. There was so much dust in it, mostly sitting on the case floor, but I was surprised it didn't asplode yet

Lord_Xeb: sucks to hear, especially when we all know you did something properly and now the PC won't work so you'll have to invest money into this POS.

I've found in my experience with rigs that look like that (or worse) that EVERY time I've cleaned them out (with a few exceptions) I generally end up with something not working correctly. It is really weird, but it almost seems like as soon as I clean them--a part fails or was so fragile that the air cleaning/etc pushed it over the edge. I really hope you can figure it out and if I had any parts lying around that were that old I'd give them to you for free lol.

I am just going to give him a spare I have in the basement. From there I will salvage this hunk of junk and put a new board and stuff into, then sell it off.

All I need is a 939 board as I got everything else.

As gross as that is, I've got you beat.

I work at a computer repair place and we had a customer bring in a computer that had maggots inside.

I've never been more terrified to open a computer case and find these everywhere:
