I would recommend Corsair heavily. They make the best PSU's around and I will only buy PSU's from them from now on.

You could get a Corsair TX650W for under $100 if you want too. It is an older model but anything from Corsair is a great product!
No, Bash away, please, that's what I'm after. Plus I've only ever heard good things about Corsair PSU's.

That's because there is nothing bad to say about them

Check this out and you will have everything you need PSU-wise.

Price wise not too bad and as you said probably a wise investment.

The other thing I was wondering was, with the release of Bulldozer looming closer am I going to be shooting myself in the foot with the inevitable price drop to all current AMD processors? (meaning better CPU for same price)

I would say wait. The GPUs that ATI brought out were amazing with power efficiency and power/price. Since AMD is the same company just for CPUs they might have something special looming. I have not done much research on the new AMD CPUs, but if it is a new socket type this time around then you DEFINITELY should wait. New socket types always bring a lot more power to the table. Plus you could get a new mobo for the new socket and it would last for a loooong time with AMD. They barely ever change socket types.

EDIT: That link that I posted is to the newer model TX650W from corsair, so I would for sure go for that. There is no doubt in my mind. The old model was pushing 3 years I think so it was due for an upgraded model like the one in the link! Same price as the old one too.

I was afraid you'd give an answer like that I suppose it gives me that bit extra time I needed to save for that PSU.

Good things are worth waiting for You can do it!

Or you could save up more money and when the new CPUs come out you can get a faster CPU than you were hoping for, or a better GPU. Whatever you want really

Damn choices!! It's turning into one of those situations where everyday I keep stretching that budget another little bit. If only I could survive without food or water for about a month I'd be set.

For suggestions i would say your picks for the ram and hdd are good and psu wise definitely get a corsair i love mine ahah plus its a 650watt which will be enough power for you. This is some nice ram too http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820226075 but its not too big of a deal to which you pick, they both have nice quality
