So something wierd just happend? I was letting prime run again and had been running for like an hour then I heard my computer shutoff. It just restarded on its own for some wierd reason there was no bsod. I looked at my prime results and evertyhing to that point had passed. When it restarted it brought me to the screen that said windows was not shut down properly etc. Any clue what that is? It wasn't a power outage or anything either.

doesnt look that way. I am monitoring my temps right now in prime. It does appear to be running hotter today that it was last night.

62C
core1-77
core2-77
core3-73
core4-73

I saw it spike up to 62-65 for a split second hear and there but mostly stays fixed on 60C

I think it may have got to hot. I dont know if the north bridge getting to hot can cause a shut down or not (still new) but it was really warm. I shut down my pc flipped my rear exahust fan into an intake. Temps dropped 10C across all my vital sensore. Now I think tonight I have to cut out the case fan grills and purchase a diffrent fan grill for high airflow because this thing sounds like a damn tornado siren on full blast lol....

You can turn it off if you are just gaming, it will drop temps by 10c or so

Give it a little more VTT and drop RAM timings to 8-8-8-20.

as for 1.36v for 4.20, is that the lowest vcore you can get?

I really dont think so. I was going to fine tune it all tonight. I think I can for sure go lower. and I will try dropping those timings as well thanks for theads up.

I've got a i7 920 d0 running at the same speed at 1.35v so I think you might be able to drop that vcore down a bit... Still, anything around those speeds will scream.
Those are about the same temps I see with a TR Venomous too so everyone else is correct with the temp assessments.
