Help me to overclock Athlon II X2 245

Thread Starter
Hello, I have Athlon II X2 245 CPU at stock speed 2.9GHz. Until today it was overclocked to 3.6GHz with stock cooler.

FSB: 245MHz
CPU clock: 14.5
Vcore: 1.425

Yesterday I bought aftermarket cooler and now I'm trying to get more of this CPU. I've try for 3.7GHz with 1.450 Vcore.....and it was stable. Than I've try for 3.8GHz and it was unstable, I've put the Vcore to 1.475....unstable again.....Vcore to 1.500....unstable. Than I've increase CPU NB VID +0.100V, NB +0.100V and SB +0.100V......unstable again......what I can do?

FSB: 263MHz
CPU clock: 14.5
RAM: 700MHz (263x2.66)
NB Frequency: 2630MHz (263x10)

Max temps at 1.500 are 39°C (tested 3-4 minutes)
at 3.7GHz (1.450 Vcore) max temp: 36°C tested for 3 hours Prime95

I thought it's all about temperature. And there is no restriction in overclocking

wrong, because my wifes cpu at 3.85 never gets above 48c.it also could be the motherboard limiting you.plus all i can get out of my PII is 4.10 and it never gets hotter than 48c too.
