Nice! Though the tightening ring for the fillport should be under the case metal. Tighten it as much as you can without distorting the grommet. It will be more low profile too and look cleaner. Good job though!

You know what....I'm not even going to comment on the thread title lol. Maybe a better choice of words could've been used.

As for the fill port tightenin ring....I didn't know it existed. lol. I just can't turn it though.

Nice job on the fix. Just a heads up for in case you have to drill again....Put down some painters tape over the area you plan to drill a hole through and then start off with a bit much smaller than you intend to make the hole when finished. Then gradually go up in size with the drill bits until you reach your desired size. That way you wont have to worry about the drill getting away from you and scratching up your case.
