Extremely High Budget Rig

Thread Starter
My lord, if i had the right mind i would literally kill my friend at the moment, but anyways:

My friend desperately needs a new PC. Luckily for him, he is RICH AS HOLY HELL

So i have been assigned to build a future proof-ish (the term means literally nothing in computing atm unfortunately ) rig, with a budget of £3000 including monitor, OS, keyboard, mouse, all the bells and whistles you can think of

So suggestions, gentlemen?

Then upgrade your own rig while you're at it, that thing is a bit behind the times

It doesnt take much to be future proof. Having tons of ram isnt future proof. More than 12gbs is pretty stupid. GTX 580 in SLI is very future proof. The i7 970 six core is good. The Enermax 1250 power supply is among the best too. The haf 932 X case is among the best as well. LED monitor around 28" would be great. Nice surround sound as well. You dont have to spend a lot of money.

My sig rig is very future proof, Copy that and get the GTX 580 in Sli instead and that would make anyone happy. I only spent $1500 on my system and nothing can slow it down.
