CPU Fan Error with A70/Loud rig

Thread Starter
Just recently finished this computer and I get a CPU Fan Error upon boot. I have a Corsair A70 and everything seems to be connected properly and whatnot. Any ideas?

Don't worry, it's normal. The same thing happens to me with my Hyper 212+ on my ASUS mobo. The 120mm fan doesn't speed up quick enough so the motherboard does not think it is running.

Sweet, thanks guys.

Also wanted to ask about the loudness of my rig. It's super loud to the point where I can barely hear my monitor speakers at times (I know I shouldn't use them but it's what I have atm). Here's a vid:

Is that loud or normal?

check the speed of the fans in your bios or through speedfan program. both fans should run at approx. 2000 rpm.

Your rig sounds pretty decent if compared to that "counter-terrorist win".

You could always buy a fan controller though

They're running <2000rpm. I showed the video to my friend and he said it sounded like a vacuum cleaner lol.

@ tryagainplss, haha that was my sister playing CS on my laptop. As for a fan controller, I only have the switches on the back of the Antec 902--I already went over with my budget for building this

Is the sound normal though?

edit: I just found the culprit (the hard way through my bleeding finger). It's my GPU stock cooler. I put my hand and the blades just cut my middle finger up. Is there a way to regulate it to go slower?

Try MSI afterburner to lower the GPU fan speed and turn the case fans down to medium.

I also have cut from cleaning a supposedly non stick scissor.

I put the fans on low. Once I stop the gpu fan, the whole thing is much quieter. I tried MSI Afterburner, but I get a "failed to initialize" error--guess there's a compatibility issue.

gpu fans can create ALOT of noise. i have my 5870's fan setup on the afterburner program. its not really audible until around 55%. at 100% this thing is crazy!
