UPDATED/Hows my GTX580 overclock?

Thread Starter
I have a Zotac GTX570 and an MSI GTX580 "oc" edition.

The stock voltage of the Zotac GTX570 is 0.988 when I open afterburner.

Stock voltage of the MSI GTX580(stock 823mhz) is 1.025v when I open afterburner.

Are these stock voltages good? I can undervolt both by a little, so I'm wondering how good these chips are, can I have your opinions.

sounds normal to me, but VID doesn't really indicate OC potential.

overclock them and see how good they are ;-)

I will eventually, maybe sometimes after work tonight I'll see what I can get my 580 too and post some pics. I'm trying to debate which one I want to keep. I can't keep both, I want to sell one soon.

well your sort of late behind another dude to sell the exact same cards that you have.

OC both and see which one you prefer and what clocks you get.

Kombustor isn't kinda great tbh.

Use Furmark at least an hour, that'll confirm your OC for sure

I dunno. But furmark detected artifacts that kombuster didn't. Well, for me at least. Plus, I froze during furmark
