EA FIFA 11 RMA Issues

Hey all,

So I scratched my roommates copy of FIFA 11 early in January. Subsequently, I called EA about their warranty program (Refer to [url=http://support.ea.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/34[/url]). The agent I spoke to was very kind, and offered to replace the disc without the small fee that they usually charge. He said that it would take roughly 3-5 days once they received the game for them to send a copy back, and then a couple days for shipping. I then sent the game with all the information that they required. This was January 12th.

I contacted them on the January 31, and I was told that the original RMA number that I had been issued had been created, but not sent over to the warranty department. They told me that my game had just been sitting in a warehouse in Austin, and no one knew what to do with it. This was a bit worrying. The rep told me he was going to escalate the issue, I was told that they would be overnighting/express mailing the game. I patiently awaited its arrival, but nothing came. So I called them back, and I learned that again, the ticket had been created, but not sent to the warranty department.

Next, on Febuary 7 or 8th, I was then informed that I would have to wait more because they were now out of stock of replacement copies of FIFA 11. The rep then told me that the the game couldn't be overnighted, and that they would just send me a game with normal shipping and processing, meaning 72 hours of business days and then 5-7 business day shipping. This wasn't okay by me, because I wanted to get my roommate his game back. I felt like such an ******* making him wait so long already, another week or two wasn't going to work. I ended up speaking directly to the head of their support division, who talked directly to the head of their warranty department, and I was assured that they would do everything they could to get me a copy of the game.

I called back earlier this week (the 14th) and was informed by a supervisor that they were going to get copies of the game in today (the 17th) or tomorrow (Friday, the 18th). And then finally, I called in today, over a month after I sent in the game, and the rep sent a reminder out to the warranty department that they should get me a copy of the game.

I'm really frustrated. I don't have the disposable money to buy my roommate another copy of the game, but I feel really bad making him wait so long. What would you guys do? I mean, I don't have many other options other than waiting, but I just want to hurry the process up. I can't imagine how hard it would be to just get me a copy of the game. GAH.

Let me just note that everyone who I have spoken to at EA has been really polite, spoken great English (YAAAAYYYYYYYYY for jobs in the US), and worked their hardest to help me. So I'm not bashing them, and I have been really nice to them. I JUST WISH THEY WOULD GET ME THE GAME. BAH. Enough caps for now!

TL, DR: I broke my roommates copy of FIFA 11. I then sent in my roommates broken game to EA over a month ago. And I have been told to expect it multiple times already, and I haven't gotten it yet. I need advice.
