Which soundcard to get?

Thread Starter
I would really like a soundcard to put my speakers to good use, but I have very little knowledge of good soundcards, and what makes one good.

So I'll be trusting your guys' judgement, and please don't be biased. I want a fair comparison between the competition.

Any advice is appreciated.

Budget is ~$100-200, but closer to $100. If I can get a significantly better experience by spending closer to $200, I'll do that.

Same and each one of those are priced differently, the DX for price to performance, STX is amazing with headphones and should be good with speakers (unless you are doing something like a 5.1) and if you are doing surround sound get a ST.
