My card occasionly "cuts out"?

Once every few days my card just randomly seems to cut off and my monitors give me the no signal message. The only way to get it back up is if i completely shut the computer down, unplug the power chord, wait 10 seconds or so then plug it back on and boot it back up. As you can imagine its starting to get extremely annoying. Ive made sure the 6pin power connector was securely in and the card is locked into place in the mobo PCIE slot. Im running out of ideas as to why this keeps happening any ideas/suggestions?

Mine started having that problem when I installed the new 11.1 driver. Have you tired different drivers?
