"Overclock failed" ummmm apparently not

So I wasn't sure where to post this but it happened today, and has happened in the past.

Specs are below, but i keep my memory.....i guess not "OC'd" but I had to set the timings/voltage.

Anyways sometimes on my bios it'll say overclock failed, all I have to do is go into setup and just exit and it keeps the old values. And works fine.

Any idea why it does this?

thanks

guess it's time to worry, my crosshair does that whenever i change my ram sticks around put them in different slots etc, even if i turn it on sometimes. All at stock, now it's slowly crapping out, 1 ram slot works now, rest give red lights, attempting to RMA, my step dad is doing that for me, he has the reciepts, just thought i should warn you, it could be something bad if you're getting that.

Maybe one of them just got loose, but otherwise it works fine.
I mean i've had it like this for like 6 months now.

I get that once a month I think is to do with the power in my house. I built another Identical pc for a mate and it did overclock failed too. I wouldn't worry about it.
