I was wondering how are they justifying the price premium.

Have they released a Demo?
Have they released Full Detail DX11 ScreenShots?

They consolized the game and haven't released a single screenshot of the finished PC product and they're charging 60$ for a digital copy?

Right.

Seems like i'm going to wait for a steam special.

The new banner ads command you to pre-order. Obey them!

On a more serious note. If you preorder from EA's site do you get the gold dog tag, threat detection module and the scar desert skin along with the platinum dog tag, hologram decoy and digital scar skin that come with the limited edition?

Its £30 in UK. Not bad compared other big titles.

Got to think about buying this, especially when bank balances are low.

I agree, after seeing that video and mistakenly buying BlackOps, Crysis 2 looks more like another noob fest to me. I dont understand why these popular FPS games are moving towards rewarding people for not having any skill. How much skill could the ground stomp possibly take? I can see getting knifed in the back over and over by cloaked people too.

With that comment I ask you one thing, what should you always do? Check your six, you always check your six. IMO if you get powned by a camper/noob using a "specific" skill set then it is your own fault.

But you haven't played it. Until you play it you can't assume. You don't know how balanced it is or isn't so why talk about what you don't know?

I am okay with $60, sure it would be nice to pay less but after playing the beta the game was pretty awesome from what I got to see.

The ground stomp is not as reliable as you think, you can't really aim it directly at a person you just jump towards someone off a building and when you hit the button you hope you get them. If your close but not touching it does some damage but not enough to kill. Also, it has a delay where your guys recovering for like 1.5 seconds as he hit the ground pretty hard so your vulnerable.

Cloaked guys are somewhat hard to notice unless you have some of your abilities set up to detect them. Mind you they do have a nice advantage and when playing I noticed everything was amazingly balance unlike COD.

Overall I would say get the game or if your hesitant wait for PC screenshots and/or go try it on console at a retail store with a game station.
Edit: I know console has a different feel to an extent then PC but it still gives some perspective.

Just my 2 cents
