Do you think I can get past 3.8ghz some how?

Because whenever I try the system overheats. Do I need to lower something or make something higher? Any recommendations?

Thanks!

And will I notice any speed increase from 3.8 to 4.0ghz or not much that its worth me trying to hit 4ghz?

Your phenom, C2 or C3? The revision.

You have a good cooler and a good CPU, if you have a C3 go ahead and oc to 4 and more if you feel like it.
If you have a C2, you will probably hit a wall before the 4ghz mark.

I have the better one which I believe is C3. But I've tried and I still crash... Do I need to turn up or down voltages or something else or should it just work without me adjusting cpu voltage? My ram is at 667mhz right now which is suppose to lower heat right? I'm on ddr2 ram... So I can't lower it much more I don't think...

Definitely not. At least, not safely. You shouldn't be overclocking at all.
See the link in my sig about importance of VRM quality with high TDP processors

might wanna get better cpu cooling?
Forget about CPU cooling, H50 is just fine. Get a better board!
3+1 phase unheatsinked + 125W TDP stock processor + overclocking... prepare for a really good fireworks show
Once again, see the orange link in my sig

Ran linx and it said my computer is fine at 3.8ghz. I know there's a way I can hit 4ghz without getting a new board like you're saying xd. Otherwise why would Linx say no errors out of 20 tests?

This actually isn't about CPU stability, it's about motherboard capability & safety. Have you seen the list of VRM failure incidents in the article linked in my sig? With new additions coming day after day it's getting pretty long... with a weak and cheaped out 3+1 VRM and a 125W processor (well, being overclocked, it is way past that)... you could be risking a costly failure.

I've played games like Mafia 2 at 3.8ghz all the way through and my computer didn't catch on fire yet.

It's good to see you finally made a thread about this, although I've gotten quite used to you posting your list of "horror stories" about inadequate power phases and mosfet cooling.

@the OP, listen to XD1771. You shouldn't be overclocking on that board, you're likely to blow something up on it.
