external rad and filters

Thread Starter
So I was wondering, those of you running radiator externally, do you guys use filters? or just fan guard stuff to make sure your pet or nothing damages the fins?

I just picked up 2nd rad for my system and unfortunately it won't fit inside the case so I'll have to mount it out the back. but not sure if i should use filter or just those fan/blade guard thingy?

It makes sense to have filters if fan is sucking air into the case

I run a filter on my intake... I recommend filters that are easy to clean.

Dust in radiators is really annoying and hard to clean and will decrease cooling
