Good 1366 board with SSD raid 0 support.

Thread Starter
I need suggestions on a 1366 socket mobo with good raid support and OC options. Im currently using an AMD mobo and I use 2 Crucial 64g c300 SSD in a raid 0 configuration. I get 620ish mb/sec write speeds. Looking to get an intel board that will surely support this type of raid using a SSD.

Also would like some feedback to if it would be more 'worth it' to wait on the sandy bridge 1155 boards/processors or to get the 1366 socket board/processor right now
Thanks in advance :]

P.S. I use the SSD raid in 2 SATA 6bg/sec slots. Because those particular drives support it. So that would also be a plus, since im sure id see a drop in read speeds in a 3gb/sec SATA

I've heard that there's some problem with RAIDing these Crucial SSD's. I'll try and find the link for you. And me! I now have 2 C300 128GB's.
In fact, I have quite a few different SSD's and was also wondering if they could all be set to JBOD. Now that would really be a trip!

Mine are giving nearly double the output of the standalone drive, which would suggest that the raid is working pretty well. I'm using an AMD asus evo board. I had 0 issues with it so far, and from what ive read SSD support trim really well.

I haven't found that article yet, but maybe it was some update that was needed. Thanks for telling me! Double the speed of one of these must be totally awesome!

Its ridiculously fast, I have to remind myself in mmos that other people actually have load screens. And that I have to wait on them to enter a dungeon

hey there is no problem with RAIDing C300 they actually do it best because of ITGC which is almost as good as TRIM.

Moving to intel X58 system your SSDs would run slower in RAID on ICH10R, third party SATA6G solutions for X58 suck. P67 on the other hand it would be faster yes, because of native support for SATA6G.
