Yes it will work but you should get a higher quality psu (less wattage better brand single 12v rail) and a quad core processor. The Phenom II X4 820 is only 105 on newegg.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103824

Much better than the X2 555 (not all of those unlock, I had one that didn't and it was beat down by games that like quad cores).

The corsair tx650 is on sale on newegg for 80 with promo code and 60 after mir.

That has 2 12v rails and is of questionable quality. One single rail will be more stable for a powerful gpu. The corsair tx 650 for 60 after promo code and mir is a really good deal on a really good psu that is built with quality components. You shouldn't try to skimp on the psu and get a name brand, 80 plus, single 12v rail, quality psu.

would these parts work together?
how will i kno if the parts will fit in my computer case?
No, those parts will not work together. You have a DDR2 board and DDR3 RAM selected. (Sorry if someone else already pointed this out).

Balance the CPU/GPU a little better. For maximum gaming oriented machine performance, your CPU should cost as much or up to double as much as the mobo, and your GPU should cost as much or up to double as much as your CPU. Pushing outside of those boundaries will start to drag down the build and you won't get as much performance for your dollar.

At that price point you shouldn't have any problems getting a 3-4 core AMD into the build. As more games take advantage it's worth having on tap for later. Look at GPUs in the $150-200 range for this budget range.

Don't get 890FX. It's too expensive for your budget. A decent and durable board will be $180+

890GX would be a good choice nonetheless, you can get very decent ASUS/Gigabyte boards with as little as $130.

This one looks good
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128435

Change the videocard for a HD6870, doesn't have so much horsepower(-5% in most cases), but tessellates ages better, and eats way less power. Crossfired it is much stronger than the 5870 crossfired.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-349-_-Product

$194 after rebate, can't be beaten

That compensates for the extra money in the motherboard.

The CPU... Well, your decision.

RAM... It looks good. maybe it can do 7-8-7-24 without much of a hassle, and that's quite a lot of performance gain.
