I can't get 120hz on Samsung 2233RZ

Hello. I have a big problem with my new Samsung 2233RZ screen. I connected it to my graphic card (GF 6600GT) with DVI Dual Link cable that i get with monitor. My graphic card has got DVI-I Dual Link video output. I installed newest drivers to my graphic card and monitor. I use Windows XP SP2. Problem:
The only refresh rate that i can use is 60hz and 59hz in all resolutions. I can't even get 75hz refresh rate in 640x480. What do i have to do to get 120hz or 100hz refresh rate in fps games like CS 1.6 ?? Support from Samsung wrote me that 120hz mode is only enabled in 3d mode, and if i want to use it i have to had Nvidia 3d Vision. Can you help me ? I want to play CS in 640x480 with 120hz refresh rate without using Nvidia 3d glasses. Thank you

You know how to solve my problem ? Do i need to have Nvidia 3D glasses to run games in 120hz ?:/ Before i bought this monitor i fought that i will be able to run games in 120hz on my win xp, without using 3d glasses...how to do that ? I have to have Win 7 and minimum gf 8800gt ? :/ I saw in the internet that XL2410T run SC2 with 120hz without 3d mode....Can i do that in 2233RZ and Win XP ??
