bake a care amp/new amp?

Thread Starter
pretty sure i can post this on OCN... it is in the consumer electronics section after all! so heres the story (dont worry it's brief) i got a free amp and subs, not sure what kind of amp it is and too lazy to go check it out right now, i believe the subs are 150w rms a piece (i have 2) amp doesn't work when its not really cold out so i was wondering if i could bake it if i strip it of the outer casing? anyone have any experience with this? i mean it looks like a regular pcb with capacitors and what not....

if i can't bake it/it doesnt work can anyone recommend me an amp? i have a pioneer deh-p6000UB deck and 2 (i believe they are) 150w subs... i dont plan on getting more powerful subs or anything like that so whatever is a decent amp and would last awhile and power these subs would be nice

do not bake your amp, just because it doesnt work in the cold doesn't make throwing it in the oven a good idea. This is especially bad if its a cheap amp with even cheaper capacitors

The problem is probably a loose connection that could be resoldered if found
