linksys e2000?

So what're the general thoughts on this? Looks like can pick up a refurb for 40$ online today.

I've got a really crappy router right now that allows me to delegate what gets priorities, but it doesn't work at all.

Since I have two other roommates who crush our bandwith with youtube and netflix, will this router allow me assign a certain amount of bandwith to them so I can keep my ping a bit consistent?

Thanks much

I like Linksys products. I have heard good things about it.
But the problem with it, is that it has internal antennas and not external.
Not sure if it's able to DD-WRT. But if it's able to, it will allow you to have additional functionality.

I have that router however it isn't the main router in my network setup. I use it as a wireless bridge to my roommates room.

It does support DD-WRT firmware which you can flash on it easily. And DD-WRT does support the QoS which you are looking for.

its a pretty good router @ that price. Load tomato on it, it has a very good qos engine.
