RX360 vs 2 rads

Thread Starter
I'm planning on watercooling soon, and I was wondering... I'm I better with one RX360 rad or 1 RS360 + 1 RS240?

Place isn't a problem, I have it.

The two rads combined will give you better temps than the single RX360.

If you want to expand into two loops later, the two radiators would be ideal of course. Also, the two radiators will have more cooling over the single RX360. All depends on how many water blocks you are going to use.

The two radiators will have more cooling power than a single 360. However, if you plan on putting them into a case remember than both radiators must have access to fresh, unused air.

I'm gonna use the RASA CPU block + 2 EK GPU blocks.. I'm also gonna keep it in one loop..

The RS360 (at the top) will have 3 exhaust fans and the RS240 (at the front) will have two inlet fans...

Also, what loop should I do between these two?

Reservoir > Pump > RS360 > CPU > RS240 > GPU > GPU > Reservoir

or

Reservoir > Pump > RS360 > CPU > GPU > GPU RS240 > Reservoir

I think the second one will look better, but I also want the best possible performance...

Put the res between the CPU > GPU I think for better possible results. That way you wont be getting hot water from the CPU into the GPU (to make it even hotter).

Dont you mean "rad"(radiator) ?
If he puts the reservoir in between, the hot water from CPU wont be cooled down.

No, that's not going to work. Because the RS240 is intaking, the air will already be too warm before it reaches the RS360.

You need to configure ALL of your radiators as either intake or exhaust or else you will have problems with re-using air.
