Just Cause 2 running poorly - Page 2

Just Cause 2 is a different game than the others and is massive in scale, so it will definitely be more taxing on your computer, especially your GPU. Sorry you spent a lot of money on your computer and all, but you cant really be cheap when it comes to a graphics card if youre into gaming.

No idea how it runs on PC Junior, but it runs here on med:
average fps: 19.19
min fps: 15.85
max fps: 25.17
And I'm fine with that.

I don't asking much, just run at the same speed and same level of gfx as other modern games, where it simply fails. Oblivion is massive as well, but its flying on current config.

So at this point you are just debating even though we established that you CAN NOT run Just Cause 2 and that it is decently optimized, just not for a onboard gfx.

The sheer ridiculousness of playing a shooter with <25 fps aside, you do realize that not every game is well optimized and that technology moves on? Your card wasn't meant for gaming at the time of its release, let alone in 2011. If you want to play modern games, either buy appropriate hardware or stop complaining, because whining about the performance of a low-end three year old video card is nothing short of absurd.

I'm just curious as to why you have a good processor, ram, etc, but have a graphics card made for kids.

Its an actually one year old onboard video card. You use onboard sound, why onboard vid can't be better. And I hate buying a new videocard like every half of year, because some fresh new "i don't care about optimization" games running awful on older one. I'm not buying that crap anymore. As well as with other hardware actually.

Because I'm ok with 15-25 fps. Check consoles fps btw, you will be surprised maybe.
