Something must be wrong with your drivers or IDK but I was getting 45FPS (I see that 4x scope kills FPS... I usually don't use it), 98% GPU load @ 1080p with 4xAA and 8xAF HBAO off.

Do remember, ive got HBAO on and am using DX11, your using DX10. If i turned my settings the same as yours, i might be on 60fps there, however guy's with 6970's are maxing this game out solid 60 and i am not..hmmm?

@ 1680 using 5870

bfbc2framerate1920.th.jpg
@ 1920 using 5870

You need to check out whatever you are doing to the OS/PC/CCC. I would 1st start by making all CCC settings are on default and changing vsync to off.

That'll probably be the vsync being stupid and annoying. Tried turning it off and seeing if you get the same FPS?

Make sure CCC isn't forcing vsync too.

Check your GPU usage while playing too.

Here's what I get with my overclocked 5850, exact same settings as OP, no vsync:

I don't know why your getting low fps, im not familiar with AMD cards at all. All i can think of is a driver re-instal, but again i dont know.
but heres another reference:

Full settings, 32xAA, 1920 x 1080

I've got i7 2600k + HD6970 (GPU on stock right now) and I never see below 60fps.

I use 1920x1080 AAx8 AFx16 Highest Settings and HBAO OFF (If I turn HBAO ON, it's still above 60fps all the time, but I see no improvement with HBAO in real time, I don't even notice, so I just leave it off).

Maybe we could compare places of the maps?

Add me on Steam -> kcuestag
Or xfire -> kcuestag

And I'll try to help you out tonight?

How low does your fps go?

Because even with my 6950 it dips in to the 30s

That's because of your i3.

This game is VERY quad core hungry!

An upgrade to an i5 for example would be a huge jump in fps for you.

Actully it can drop to 30fps in most systems because of the amount of things happening. For example lots of explosions and stuff.
