i7 950 OC Question

Thread Starter
Hello, I am a new member to overclock.net and I have a question regarding my 950. I have a sabertooth x58 mobo with the corsair h50 cooler, and I know the operating temps are fine, but I was wondering about the voltages. I have attached a screenshot with temps in the bottom right and cpu-z to show the rest. Thank you very much for your time.

Should be fine, if your temps are alright then I dont see why that amount of voltage should be a problem. Is it stable btw?

I actually have't ran prime 95 yet. I am fairly new to overclocking and I want to play it safe. I know they can only operate in certain ranges and I want to keep my chip out of jeopardy.

Thats true, but you could be risking corrupting data and random crashes if your OC is unstable. Better to have a lower stable OC than a high unstable OC.

Unless you plan on using something that utilizes all 8 thread. I would turn off hyperthreading. It will give you better temps
