For those of you who use NZXT Phantom

Thread Starter
I just built my new rig 2 days ago and I am loving it (will post pics later today in the NZXT fanclub). I am going to be adding some new fans and wondering what your guys setup is. Right now I am just using the stock fans in there locations. I am planning on putting an exhaust fan on the top and an intake fan on the front. I'm not 100% sure if I would be able to fit a fan on the side because I am using a Noctua D-14 which is huge. I havn't installed my Noctua (arriving via UPS any minute now) but from what I read there isn't much space to even get a fan in place on the side. Should an exhaust on the to and an intake on the front be sufficient enough? Right now my gpu temps are really nice and with the stock cooler on my cpu the temps are fairly low (should be even lower once I get the noctua).

The airflow on the Phantom is very good, so dont worry.

I'm affraid that you can't install a side panel fan with the NH-D14, sorry :S. Just put one more top exhaust and a 140mm front intake fan and call it a day.

I ran with and without a side fan. And they both cooled my gpu the same. So skip the side fan.

Damn that sucks. I wouldve really liked having another fan on the side but I guess it is fine since the airflow is good already. With another intake/exhaust should be even better. I wish NZXT couldve added a bit more room for the side panel.
