The console version doesnt feel right. You can easily tell it a PC game ported to the console is a semi bad way. Graphics were ok but also poor. There are many reasons to get it on PC

Graphics
Mouse + Keyboard
Mods

This should say it all. Plus right now newegg has Crysis 2 for 49.99 so grab it up

http://promotions.newegg.com/neemail...ner-_-AllDeals

Use promo code EMCYTZT309 for the PC version to get the $10 off.

Without a doubt pc. Just waiting for it to be added on steam and il click the buy now button.

After seeing the xbox multiplayer version and although given the hardware it was good it is still rather underwhelming and sadening to see items popping up and a lack of definition on the whole. Even looking on youtube at the dx9 leaked version it looked 10x better as expected though given the extra power of the pc hardware. Nvidia apparently delayed the launch so they could pay crytek 2 million to add lots of dx11 goodies and being the proud owner of a dx11 card im looking forward to seeing what has been enhanced.

edit: its now on steam woohoo pre-ordered and now waiting a whole month to play......

Yeah there are few arguments for console over pc. My brother is a console head and his whole argument rests on how he only sees a tiny bit extra resolution on pc and im constantly upgrading my pc all time and he simply just went out and bought his xbox once. Also he says he wants a game and it just works where as on pc you have to tinker and it still might not work. But I see it different.

Acoustics from Noctua fans giving me a 12dB pc
Keyboard and mouse over pad anyday (esp my razer ones)
You can do literally anything on a pc but on a console you are restricted like hell.
I like tinkering and i get fustrated at not being able to change options and hack stuff when using a console. Tbh consoles feel like childrens toys, the interface is dumbed down to hell and so inpersonal excpt for those stupid gay avatar things and a background.
You dont have to pay for online gaming on pc where as you have to pay for gold on xbox.
Also bear this in mind:

xbox 360 came out 2005 and is the equivant of a tripple core 3.2ghz, 256mb ram with a x1800 256mb gpu.
This console will apparently last until 2016 (when itl be 11 years old) and replaced with AMD fusion 2 tech using 4 or 8 2nd gen bulldozer cores in an APU/SOC with a 8000/7000 series gpu and 400 steam processors the equvalent to a 5650 now. This will be their apperent next gen console using 4 year old tech in 2016 as fusion 2 tech is out for pc in 2012. Cost effective for microsoft yes, best option for pushing future technology strides no.

Also for perspective intel will be rolling out 16nm cpus by 2016 and 4nm cpus by 2022. Microsoft will be using 32nm on the next xbox

Why anyone would want to play a shooter on a console when they have a PC is beyond me.
PC section that was an easy one.. Overall most should want it on PC anyways for it looking amazing. Unless you want the larger online community of consoles. But PC gaming is more competitive IMO. The multiplayer will look amazing on PC.

I've seen screenshots on PC. it looks incredible on DX9. I can't wait for the demo to come out so I can see some DX11 glory that is Cry3. That and I bought the game a long time ago. lol

Thats a big if. The problem with Crysis, that it brings even super Nasa computers to their knees easily. So while I am and always will be a PC gamer, there is an appealing thought to knowing that my Crysis 2 experience will be the same as eveyone elses on Xbox.

Lets be honest kids, probably half the people who are buying this game are doing it solely for epeen points and comparisons. No doubt that even three 6970's in crossfire wont even max this game out. I've had more fun in a month of Alien Swarm then I ever had playing Crysis.

Cevat Yerli probably gets free coke and grade A hookers from ATI / nVIdia shareholders everytime he comes to North America as a thank you. ATi nvidia shares probably go up like 10% once this game hits the streets because it is almost purposely designed to outdate computer hardware....
