GTX 470 w/ antec ea-750w? - Page 2

I mean, if they were overclocked and volt modded and you ran Furmark and LinX at the same time you might run into trouble. But gaming with moderate overclocks would be absolutely fine.

Phaedrus was the only one so far that posted proper information. Except for the whole dividing by zero he did .

You could EASILY SLI 470's on that PSU, overclock the snot out of everything. It's got PLENTY of power for your system. You've got more power than my sig PSU, and I'm going to be going SLI 470's on it, with my GT240, with overclocks. Keep in mind, my CPU draws significantly less power than your i5 does. Hence why I can get by with 650w, where you need 750w.

You'll be fine . Your current PSU is an absolutely PERFECT match for your system + planned upgrades.
Where did you read this?

I think maybe he misread where I said a 600w which from what he said would be about right, so I think my info was about spot on...

The EA750 will run 2 6870s and a GTX465 just fine (so SLI'ed 470s will be fine), I know, my EA750 did it, but it got swapped for a TPN750 mainly because I could run a 140mm on the bottom of my case (the EA is a bit long). The EA750 now is running 2 GTX280s and a GTS450 in my wife's compy (all the cards are folding).
