Im using a Maximus Formula 2. So it has only 2 pci-e slots for gpu's. And yes they are both in the right slots.

Think it is 2x 16 slots ye ?

I remember having troubles with crossfire and BC2. Went crazy over it. A driver update eventually was the culprit. I would say test a few drivers, but I would also suggest installing drivers the 'tedious' way.

First clean all ATI drivers, then restart and install drivers for the first card. Then shut down, remove that card, insert the second card, and boot your PC. Install drivers for that card as well. Then try.

Also, before when I was having trouble, it was forcing my cards to run in DX10. It was running really terrible with DX10 while in crossfire, while DX10 on a single card was fine. A quick fix for it was changing the .ini file to DX9. The downfall was no/limited AA/AF.

But if you're curious, to get to the .ini file:

C:\\Users\\'Your Name'\\My Documents\\BFBC2

And set 'DxVersion' to 9, 10, or 11, and save the file.

Also, you could try playing around with these as mine is set on 'Auto'.

Either way, he would lose MAYBE 5 FPS, but it wouldn't be the cause of absolute terrible performance. A x4 and x8 PCI-e slot loses maybe 5-7% performance from x16.

Well with dx9 i will get as high as 140+ fps, Tho it is still the same peformance as with 1 card. So the only thing i kinda can think of now is to reformat everything and try it again.

Tho first i was thinking of trying the cards in my dads computer since he have newer motherbord and i5 cpu. And if it works there then there mby is my motherboard that cant handle 2 of theis cards. Or a faulty pci port etc.

And i will find out if there mby is an issue with 1 of the cards, tho i doubt it since they work fine 1 by 1

Same issu on another computer.

In bc2 it still loads only 35%
Guess it's am issue with the game itself ?

Ok, so i have run some test and i can conclude the problem is with games and not the psu/gpu/cpu etc.

Done some testing in 3dmark 11 and got this results:

3dmark 11 Exstreme (1080p) Score: X2412
3dmark 11 Peformance (720p) Score: P6428

Theise results are avrage compared to similar systems, and here the gpu load is no problem running as high as 97%

Test Peformance:

Temp card 1: 72C
Temp card 2: 80C
Fan card 1: 30%
Fan card 2: 32%
Load: 89-97%
Core Clock: 821MHz
Memory clock: 1100MHz

In the combined test part of the benchmark my cpu used this:

Cpu load: 92-94%
RAM usage: 53%

and this thing here just dont add up. I went away and tested Unreal Tournament 3 on my computer. Im the menu of the game the gpu loads at 95% giving me over 600fps, But as soon as i start to play the game the load drops to 25% and i get around 68-100fps (fps is not capped before 1000) Cpu is running at 75% and the ram usage is 45%

Is there any setting i have missed? The card works fine in benchmark but in every game i try the load is from 25-35% only making them peform as a singel card, tho crossfire is working, it just the load that is terrably low.

Any ideas ppl?

So far i have tryed:

-Flash bios
-Tested the card 1 by 1
-Moved the cards
-Cards can only fit in my two 16x slots so they are correct mounted.
-Changed psu, tryed them in another computer same result.
-Tryed like 7 diffrent drivers
-Clocked, non clocked

You want the BEST but extreme option? Re-format!

And use the 11.1a BETA's...much better then the others...

And to be honest there's some CPU bottlenecking going on there...

I'm bottlenecked in a few games and I'm running a quick CPU..

I'm bottlenecked in a few games and I'm running a quick CPU..

1. I have tryed 7 diffrent drivers including 11.1a, and they all make the same issue with not peforming in games.

2. There is not ALOT of cpu bottlenecking, and that dosent explain why the benchmark test runs fine with 97% load and good peformance from the card, but every single games the cards only loads 25%, even games with low cpu usage.

3. i have tryed them in another computer with newer motherboard and cpu, same result.

I saw CPU bottleneck...

I had x2 HD5850's on a X6 1055T @ 4Ghz and at Bad Company 2 the GPU usage were 90-99% all the time on both GPU's.

It's a driver conflict or your CPU or both.... And don't ask for help if all you're going to do is tell people that they're wrong.
