After doing all that work getting the CPU into the is not a hard task. Just get the CPU block as well and you will be golden.

I belive the 580 is like 480. You can get the mcw80 and Remove the 580 Shroud and the 6 bolts on 580, 4 0n 480 to remove the heat pipes. DOnt know on your case. but i got a thick 480 (120mm fans X 4 or 120.4) and i got i7 and gpu under same loop. Cpu makes gpu hotter by 5-10 degs but way low 53 deg and i7 @ 70deg. i had a thin 360 loop it was ok . i ogt a thick 240 too. never used the 240 . But no one know the temps or specs realy on 2011 But think like sandy bridges + 10 deg(mitebe) but ya. The block is MOst restrictive but best cooler. also befits are u can mount on almost all gpus.

As for the 470 on phyics not bad but high temps and more volts i think not worth it. Only game i liked it in was mafia 2 But that was 12 hours of gameplay. NO replay value like mafia 1 frown.gif.
Sli for me was a bust. 260 i say for phyics

Whats wrong with all you people? He shouldnt sell his 470, he should give it to me so I can get more PPD. J/K Not really though

You could sell the 470 though and you could probably pick up a GTS 450 for physx and folding and you could probably squeeze a SSD in there some where. The SSD would be the better option though as it will make your rig really snappy and it will you the most noticeable increase in performance.
